This site is patient education published by Chongqing West District Hospital. It is written to the hospital's content standards and to the advertising rules governing medical content, which is why it reads differently from a commercial clinic site.
What this site does not do
It names no drug brand and no device brand, and describes every technology and agent only by its class. It quotes no dosage, no wavelength and no price. It publishes no before-and-after gallery used as a promise, makes no claim that a particular result can be achieved, and does not present either route as the default choice or as reliably controlling melasma.
No outcome is promised
Nothing here should be read as an offer of a specific result. Planning depends on whether the pigment is melasma, how active it is, how reactive the skin has been, and how consistently the skin is protected afterwards, and any decision to treat is made only after a personal assessment.
